To calculate the Ashtakavarga scores for each planet before reduction, you sum up the bindu values for each planet across all the signs without considering reductions due to transits. Here's how you can calculate it:

For each planet:

1.      Add up the bindu values for that planet in each sign.

2.      The sum of these bindu values represents the total Ashtakavarga score for that planet before reduction.

Here's a general example for the Sun:

Total Ashtakavarga score for Sun = (Bindu in Aries) + (Bindu in Taurus) + ... + (Bindu in Pisces)

Total Ashtakavarga score for Sun = (8 + 7 + 6 + 5 + 4 + 3 + 3 + 4 + 5 + 6 + 7 + 7)

Total Ashtakavarga score for Sun = 65
